Anti-Climacus

As an alumnus of the University of Michigan, I approve of the University of Virginia's decision to remove itself from "best public university in America" consideration via the most spectacular and dysfunctional means possible. As an academic, I'm disturbed by what it means for the future of higher education, public or private.
