"Rick Santorum? Really?" was pretty much my response to the Iowa caucus. He's all the parts of social conservatism I dislike (no man has more fairly deserved the internet meme attached to his name, because few have tried so hard to be offensive to people they disagree with, Rick Perry on gay soldiers possibly excepted), and none of the parts of fiscal conservatism that I do.
On the bright side: this will be excellent fodder for Jon Stewart and Colbert, at least if last night was any indication.
