Too long for twitter: why yes, I did just forestall a nap to make an unrequested contribution to a facebook thread in which a bunch of people were complaining over the phrase "sincerely held religious belief or moral conviction" as though it were a secret set of code words to license all kinds of abuse when, in fact, it's just constitutional boilerplate, whose actual historical uses almost always favor the political orientation of those doing the complaining. #nerd
