Anti-Climacus

There's been a general revival in interest about the sitcom, living as we do in the age of sitcom auteurs. No show has benefited from this increased attention more than Cheers, for obvious reasons: the first five seasons are almost uniformly excellent. The AV Club has a good discussion of one of the season 2 episodes that also gets into the reasons for the show's best qualities. Highly recommended.
