I've been busy with work and life, and it's always the way with those two things that they prevent one from spending time on really worthwhile tasks like blogging. But in the spirit of not leaving you empty-handed, here are two excellent posts on the work of the late Gil Scott-Heron. "Johannesburg" remains my personal favorite of his, but there are many to choose from (see also "Message to the Messengers").
