Adventures in Cultural Consumption:
The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner: I happened to watch this after seeing the most recent episode of Friday Night Lights, and the two would make for an interesting comparison, especially the difference between how Coach handles Vince and the Governor deals with Colin Smith.
Before Sunset: I love movies where people talk the entire time. It's not quite My Dinner with Andre, but it's close. Thankfully, it gave up the trying-to-be-deep conversations of Before Sunrise (however true those are to being that age), and became more interesting as a result.
