Questlove, their drummer, was and remains the most interesting figure in hip-hop since Chuck D: no one else has nearly his range of reference. So with some pleasure I discovered he is the one responsible for discovering that NBC decided to 'celebrate' Black History Month by offering Fried chicken, collard greens, and black-eyed peas.
