TODAY'S VEXATIOUS READING: Contained the following four arguments:
1. Human rights do not and cannot have any grounding or final justification.
2. Human beings are agents.
3. Human rights are those things that allow human beings to function as agents.
4. Therefore, if we are to respect what human beings are, we have to support human rights.
I'm pretty sure 2. introduced a claim that functions as a grounding, and 2-4 seem to all flow together, so I'm not exactly sure how 1. is supposed to fit in.
