GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS:
Good news: The abstract for my Midwest paper this year is on the first page of Google Scholar results for the search "Grotius custom"--I'm breaking new ground, apparently.
Bad news: I'm going to have a hard time substantiating my thesis about custom and tradition. Sigh.
