ALSO: It occurred to me as I was driving back from Chicago (and listening to Document) that although many other bands did one or two great albums, and the Smiths and Rolling Stones consistently produced better albums, I'd rather listen to a good* R.E.M. album than anything else.
*Chronic Town, Murmur, Reckoning, Fables of the Reconstruction, Lifes Rich Pageant, Document, Out of Time and Automatic for the People only. None of that Green crap here.
